November 2024

In order to jointly design Accompaniment Plans for the 2024-2025 school year, senior staff and educators at education communities that the Foundation collaborates with in Mexico City met at the General Office of Education Services of Iztapalapa (DGSEI) to hold the Third National Meeting of Education Communities. In the State of Mexico, this event was held at Escuela Preparatoria Oficial 94 (Upper Secondary School).
These sessions were attended by Mexico City and Mexico State education authorities, as well as UNESCO representatives, who delivered a presentation on the culture of peace in the co-creation of educational habitats. Members of partner organizations were also present and participated in several working groups to validate activities proposed for the school year.
For the third consecutive year, the Foundation is promoting spaces for members of education communities to recognize their achievements, exchange experiences, identify needs, and propose capability-strengthening activities. In this way, the programs set in motion respond to community concerns and meet specific collective needs to create dignified school spaces that promote well-being.
