Access to a human development-focused education favors individual and collective well-being, is a means of improving quality of life, and encourages fairer and more equitable societies.

Community participation
Every community possesses a unique potential to manage its own development, which stems from
- its will,
- its collective vision,
- its capabilities,
- its own resources, and
- its level of autonomy.
For this reason, encouraging the participation of each of its actors promotes a transformation that comes from the community environment itself.

Systemic approach
Each member of an education community is part of a network of mutual influence in which they participate individually or collectively.
These networks are relevant because they
- function as channels for transferring information,
- contribute to solving problems and achieving shared objectives,
- instill a sense of belonging, and
- promote learning.
Thus, any education community constituted as a system of networks —dynamic, diverse, flexible, and open— will be able to call for action, design and planning, collaboration, execution, and transformation.

Social innovation and sustainability
Social innovation seeks to fulfill unmet needs and empower education communities —with certain vulnerabilities— to participate and consolidate their efforts in society in a sustainable manner.
